In the Year 2008, JDA contracting has made the use of Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) standard for all small Commercial and Residential Foundations.
Insulated concrete forms combines the isolative properties of 4 inches of rigid insulation with the thermal mass of concrete to provide a superior foundation wall. The products used by JDA Contracting have gained the recognition of Energy Star for Home Sealing and are entirely recyclable with the ties made entirely of recycled plastic.
Our customers agree that the use of insulated concrete forms provides for a warmer and dryer basement. In addition to the thermal and insulation benefits the requirement of adding a stud framed interior wall and insulation are eliminated, adding back usable square footage to the basement area. Standard with our foundations are electrical plug rough in and drywall to the interior perimeter of our foundation walls.
